Compassion Fatigue Educator Certification

Compassion Fatigue Educator (CFE) Certification is earned by those who complete the Compassion Fatigue Educator course of training or equivalent training and experiences associated with the theory and research, assessment, and prevention of work-related compassion fatigue. The certification is for those who are primarily interested in teaching and guiding colleagues about self care, developing and managing a self care plan, and effective compassion fatigue stress management.

Red Cross seeks GCAT

The Red Cross is seeking Green Cross Members to lend a hand in the after math of Hurricane Sandy. Particularly to help our at the shelters. If any Green Cross member has community-mental health services experience such as: clinical social workers, psychologists, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychiatric nurses, and psychologists with independent licenses, you are more than needed to help assist the Red Cross.


If you have a minimum of two weeks to volunteer for this effort, have an active license in one of the above specialties, and are in excellent physical health, the people impacted by Hurricane Sandy need your help. The Northern Minnesota Region of the Red Cross is looking for volunteers who could attend training on Friday, November 9th and travel to the East Coast as early as November 10th. There may also be opportunities to deploy later in November or early December.
